CRIME STOPPERS INCREASES REWARD FOR FUGITIVE THAT
ESCAPED POLICE CUSTODY
Somerville, NJ - Douglas W. Kimmelman, President and
Chairman of the Board of Directors of Crime Stoppers
of Somerset County has announced a reward has been
increased from $250.00 to $1,000.00 for information
which leads to the arrest of David T. Jones, age 32,
whose last known address is LaMonte Avenue in Bound
Brook, New Jersey.
On February 2, 2006, Jones was arrested by the Bound
Brook Police department and charged with second-degree
resisting arrest. Having failed to appear for a pretrial
conference in Superior Court in April 2006 a bench
warrant was issued fro his arrest.
On May 27, 2007, Jones was listed
in the Courier – News
as one of Somerset County’s Most Wanted with
a $250.00 reward being offered by Somerset County Crime
Stoppers for information leading to his arrest.
On Sunday July 22, 2007, Jones had been arrested following
a domestic incident by the South Bound Brook Police
Department. While in custody at the South Bound Brook
Police headquarters he escaped and still remains at
large.
