Death Investigation Reward
Somerville, NJ – Somerset
County Prosecutor Wayne J. Forrest and Somerville Chief
of Police Richard Rose announce that an investigation
is still being conducted by the Somerset County Prosecutor’s
Office Criminal Investigation Division and the Somerville
Police Department Detective Bureau into the death of
Tuan Nguyen, an Asian male, age 24, of West Brown Street,
Somerville, New Jersey.
According to Prosecutor Forrest,
at approximately 7:45 p.m., Tuesday, July 27, 2004,
the Somerville Police were summoned to the victim’s residence by family
members. Upon arrival of the police, the victim’s
bloody body was found on the floor inside the residence
lying up against the front door. The victim sustained
multiple stab wounds to his body. The victim was reported
to be home alone at the time of the incident
As the investigation continues,
Douglas W. Kimmelman, President and Chairman of the
Board of Directors of Crime Stoppers of Somerset
County announces a reward of $1,000.00 for any information
which results in the arrest and indictment of the
killer(s) of the victim, Tuan Nguyen. This information
