Wanted For Bank Robbery
Somerville,
NJ - Somerset County Prosecutor Wayne J. Forrest and
Franklin Township Chief Craig Novick have reported
that Douglas W. Kimmelman, Chairman of the Board of
Directors of Crime Stoppers of Somerset County, Inc.,
has announced a $500.00 reward for information leading
to the arrest of an individual who is wanted for a
bank robbery.
Somerset County Prosecutor Wayne
J. Forrest stated that on December 22, 2003 at approximately
8:40 AM, the suspect entered the New Millennium Bank
located on Hamilton Street in the Somerset section
of Franklin Township. The suspect told a teller he
was armed and demanded money. The teller gave the
suspect money and the suspect fled the scene. The
suspect was last seen wearing a bright red two-piece
jump suit with a zippered top, plain black baseball
hat and squared framed sunglasses with silver tint.
The suspect was last seen heading on DeWald Avenue
in Franklin. The suspect is described as a black
male approximately 5’10”- 6’,
weighing approximately 220 pounds, with a dark complexion,
black hair, brown eyes, medium build and approximate
thirty years of age. (Computer sketch attached).
Prosecutor Forrest and Chief Novick
ask that anyone with information pertaining to this
investigation to contact either the Franklin Township

Chairman Kimmelman stated that those calling the Crime
Stoppers TIPS Line may provide any information anonymously
and will be supplied with a confidential code number.
If the information provided leads to the arrest and
indictment of the defendant, the caller will receive
a $500.00 cash reward. All calls are confidential and
the callers may remain anonymous. Information may also
